TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES FOR MUSIC IN WORSHIP

Sunday 17 October - Exploring Taize

On Sunday 17 October a workshop of music and liturgy from the Taize Community will be held in the parish church of St Mary the Virgin, Godmanchester, giving an opportunity to learn more about the beauty and richness of the worship in this contemporary community in France.

The workshop will start at 4.30 and, after a break for tea, there will be a service at 6.30 following the pattern of Evening Prayer from the Taize Community. A small charge of £2 will be made to cover the costs of heating, refreshments and materials, but there will be no charge for attendance at just the service. Instrumentalists will be particularly welcome.
